Summer 2025 indie horror inbox roundup

From Our Inbox: New & Upcoming Horror Projects (June-September 2025)

I get a ton of emails about exciting upcoming horror projects and, while I’m unable to showcase them all individually, I’m absolutely thrilled to share them ROUND-UP STYLE! So, without further ado, here are the new & upcoming horror creations from the HorrorFam.com inbox!

None of the creators below have paid to be featured here — because we believe that lacking a marketing budget shouldn’t equate to a lack of eyes on your project. That said, I haven’t I had the chance to experience every creation personally. I do my best to make sure each entry is horror-related and take it in good faith that each creator has represented themselves and their projects honestly.

Summer 2025 Feature-Length Indie Horror Films

VIXEN

VIXEN Ladon Whitmire horror film

VIXEN is an eerie, slow-burning thriller about guilt, grief, and the secrets we try to bury. After a tragic accident claims the life of a young woman named Amanda, five friends try to move on—but the past has other plans. As the group begins to fracture under the weight of their shared guilt, strange visions, chilling voices, and unraveling truths begin to surface.

Set in a remote home near a fog-covered lake, VIXEN blends atmospheric horror with emotional suspense, revealing how some stories don’t end… even after death.

According to writer/director Ladon Whitmire, “The project is currently in development as a low-budget indie feature, with William Baldwin attached to star. We’re in the process of building our team and welcome interest from potential producing partners.” You can follow VIXEN’s progress on Ladon’s Instagram @TSLW_Productions!

Crazy Texas

Crazy Texas indie horror movie

This submission came from Tyler Corie, the Production Designer for Crazy Texas, who explained that they had enough funds to make an awesome horror film… but not to market it. And that pretty much sums up why my Indie Horror Inbox Roundups were created in the first place!

So, check out Crazy Texas on Amazon! I was told it’ll be releasing on Tubi soon as well.

The plot summary, per IMDb, is “Amidst the festive spirit of Christmas in a small Texas town, two sisters find themselves embroiled in a dangerous struggle to safeguard their family wealth and deeply held religious convictions.”

Unholy Song

Unholy Song 2025 streaming

This submission came from Ke’Mari Moore who was super excited to tell me about playing the character “Rich” in Unholy Song (he was paired with supermodel Anna Alimani!). In addition to being an actor who’s stacking up horror/sci-fi/thriller roles (is he a future Scream King we should keep an eye on??), Ke’Mari Moore is also an executive producer who’s passionate about films.

If you missed Unholy Song when it was playing at film festivals or during its limited theatrical run in February of this year, worry not: It’s now available to stream on Amazon!

Written & Directed by Arthur G. Night, Unholy Song follows a landlord and his tenants as they grapple with a witch they’ve unwittingly released by playing a cursed cassette tape!

All the Lost Ones

All the Lost Ones horror dystopian war film

A Canadian-made indie that was winning boatloads of awards at festivals (including wins for Best Picture, Best Director, Best Writing at the 2024 Vancouver Horror Show), I was told that All the Lost Ones is primarily an action war thriller with a healthy dollop of disaster horror and dystopian sci-fi elements.

From the email I got: “Directed by Mackenzie Donaldson (The Definites), All the Lost Ones takes place in a near-future dystopian America torn by civil war. A group hiding in a cabin is hunted by a rebel militia and forced into a brutal fight for survival. The story centers on Nia (Jasmine Mathews), her boyfriend Ethan (Douglas Smith), and sister Penny (Vinessa Antoine) who are being hunted by the ruthless rebel militia leader (Devon Sawa, Heart Eyes) and his platoon, turning their safe haven into a desperate attempt to escape. The film, produced by Yas Taalat at Electric Panda Entertainment, additionally features appearances from Sheila McCarthy and Steven Ogg.

After its limited theatrical run in April of this year, All the Lost Ones is now available on demand and digital. Watch the trailer on YouTube!

Mega Blood Moon: The Freelancer

Mega Blood Moon The Freelancer

This submission came from Writer/Director Ben Floss who was pleased to announce the first film to come out Mega Blood Moon (his production group) — Mega Blood Moon: The Freelancer!

Plot Synopsis: “After arriving early to an empty workplace on his last day of work, a Freelancer discovers that he may not be alone. Under the light of the mysterious Mega Blood Moon, he’ll find out that his last day is going to be a fight… to the death.”

Mega Blood Moon: The Freelancer is now available to stream on Amazon!

According to Ben Floss: “We shot it in secret at my old workplace, had no script, and ‘borrowed’ some gear in order to get it done on nights and weekends – and it isn’t complete garbage. This movie is hopefully the first in our goal of making a lot of schlocky B-horror movies.” Floss also added, “This is part of a larger project to build a supportive community of filmmakers to help each other make high-velocity fun movies.”

Ride the Snake

Ride The Snake Poster

Written and directed by Shani Grewal, Ride the Snake is a 90-minute dark horror suspense film that follows a wife who’s out for revenge after the death of her husband. In her quest for justice, she uncovers a tangled web of lies and deception (and madness?!) that take her into surreal territories.

Shani Grewal said, “The film stars Suzanna Hamilton (1984, Out of Africa), Michael Maloney (Truly, Madly Deeply and Kenneth Branagh’s Hamlet) and Madhav Sharma (Conclave, East is East, Entrapment). Ride the Snake is a slow burn, more of a homage to The Shining, Don’t Look Now, Rosemary’s Baby, and Hertzog’s Nosferatu than a slasher.”

Born in Punjab, India and now residing and working in the UK, Shani Grewal also felt it important to say, “You know, even in 2025, it’s tough to get people to see British/Asians on screen as anything but corner shop owners but the reaction to Snake has been universally positive, not only in terms of the story and suspense, but also the universality of the film’s characters ‘of colour.'”

Ride the Snake is now available to watch via streaming on Amazon! More streaming venues will be coming soon, after Ride the Snake’s recent successes at the Cannes Film Market last month.

Daydreamers

Daydreamers 2025 vampire horror

If you missed this Vietnamese vampire thriller’s limited run in theaters last month, don’t worry — as of June 3rd, Daydreamers is available across all major TVOD platforms. You can also watch the trailer on YouTube!

Daydreamers plot summary, via Dark Star Pictures: “Set in modern-day Saigon, Daydreamers follows Nhat, a young vampire raised in a secretive riverboat community that suppresses its thirst for human blood. When his estranged brother Marco returns, tempting him with freedom in the city’s nightlife, Nhat breaks vampire law to protect a rebellious girl who uncovers his secret — sparking a deadly chain of events. As chaos erupts, Daydreamers delivers a genre-blending, emotionally charged twist on vampire mythology with stunning visual effects and a powerful story of loyalty, identity, and survival.”

Directed by Timothy Linh Bui (Three Seasons, Green Dragon), I was told Daydreamers is one of the first vampire films to emerge from Vietnam and get to be seen by US audiences!

Per their email: “Daydreamers marks a bold new milestone in the country’s genre cinema — blending horror, fantasy, and thriller into a wholly original cinematic world. It stars an all-Vietnamese cast, including global icon Chi Pu (plays Trieu), a singer and actress with over 20 million followers, and rising talents Trinh Thao (plays Ha), Thuan Nguyen (plays Marco), and Tran Ngoc Vang (plays Nhat).”

Bleeding

BLEEDING streaming on Screambox

Indie Writer/Director Andrew Bell is also releasing a vampiric horror film this month! The film is called Bleeding and after being a hit at film festivals, it’s making its streaming debut on Screambox June 10th.

Per Andrew Bell’s representative: “The film follows Eric, a teenager trying to save his cousin from the same fate that claimed his older brother. The twist? The drug tearing through their small town isn’t heroin or meth — it’s blood. Vampire blood. Drink it, and you’ll get high. Drink too much, and you’ll turn. (or you can dry it into Dust and snort it like coke.) Either way, it’s addictive, dangerous, and deeply metaphorical.”

“What makes Bleeding different from the usual vampire-as-addiction metaphor is that it stays grounded: small town teens with no safety net, trying to claw their way out of generational trauma, grief, and bad options. It’s shot with raw intimacy — no glossy sheen or stylized vampires here — and it leans hard into the kind of hopelessness that makes you understand why someone would risk everything for one more hit.”

The Mill Killers

The Mill Killers horror movie

The Mill Killers AKA Scopophobia is a 100-minute horror movie written and directed by Aled Owen about four girls who enter an abandoned factory to retrieve money they’d stolen years earlier… only to get locked inside the building and hunted. As the logline says: “The secret that binds them will be what tears them apart.”

You can catch The Mill Killers on VOD!

Self Driver

Self Driver indie horror film

Canadian writer-director Michael Pierro has teamed up with Cinephobia to release his debut thriller Self Driver to audiences in the United States! It stars Nathanael Chadwick, Reece Presley, and Lauren Welchner.  You can now catch it on VOD & Digital.

Self Driver is the story of D (Nathanael Chadwick), a cab driver who isn’t earning enough money to cover his ever-increasing debts. And while that’s a true-to-life horror in its own right, things take an even darker turn when he signs up to a new, highly mysterious, ridesharing app that promises a way for D to make additional money on the side – and the rides take him down a road he may never come back from.

“I’m beyond excited to be working with Cinephobia Releasing to bring Self Driver to American audiences, said Michael Pierro. “The film was a passion project, built with a guerilla spirit from the ground up. It’s a true joy to be working with a bunch of people who share the same love for independent cinema that brought the team behind Self Driver together in the first place. This film would not exist without people like that and I can’t wait to see where they take it!”

Rumpelstiltskin

Andy Edwards Rumpelstiltskin 2025 horror film

Andy Edwards – who our diehard readers may remember from his film Punch – is back again with another indie horror offering: Rumpelstiltskin! It’s currently available to stream via Apple TV with more channels expected soon. You can watch the trailer on YouTube.

This dark horror fantasy is a retelling of the classic fairy tale. It leans into the more grisly aspects often edited out to be child-friendly. As you’d expect, from a horror-focused revamp of the tale!

Plot summary: “With her life in jeopardy, a miller’s daughter strikes a series of dark deals with a twisted forest imp to spin straw into gold, ultimately promising her firstborn in return. When she becomes queen and a mother, the imp returns to claim her son, unless she can guess his name. On a desperate flight deep into the haunted forest, the queen happens upon the imp and learns his name — Rumpelstiltskin. Her child is saved, and Rumpelstiltskin is banished to his domain beneath the earth. But seven years later, the vengeful imp returns, luring her son into the forest. Will a mother’s love be enough to defeat an ancient evil, or will Rumpelstiltskin have his revenge?”

The Stranger In My Home

The Stranger In My Home movie

Available on Digital June 24th, The Stranger In My Home is the adaptation of the novel (of the same name) by Adele Parks.

Plot Summary: “Ali and her daughter Katie have a perfect life – until a stranger claims to be Katie’s father. As secrets unravel, his obsession turns dangerous, pulling them into a web of lies and fear. Based on the bestselling novel.”

Alma and The Wolf

Alma and the Wolf 2025 indie horror

Starring Ethan Embry and Li Jun Li, Alma and the Wolf is an 89-minute horror film that’s teasing bigtime werewolf vibes. Or is everyone in town just going insane with paranoia?!

You’ll be able to find out when Alma and the Wolf hits select theaters and Digital on June 20th!

In the meantime, you can watch the trailer on YouTube.

Please Don’t Feed the Children

Please Dont Feed the Children L to R_ Regan Aliyah, Andrew Liner, Dean Scott Vazquez, Zoe Colletti, Emma Meisel

Tubi Original Film – the home of indie horror – would like to announce Please Don’t Feed the Children, a new horror thriller premiering exclusively on their service Friday, June 27th.

Per their email: “Please Don’t Feed the Children takes place in a not-so-distant future where society contends with a pervasive virus that afflicts the entire adult population. After the deadly viral outbreak, a group of orphans flee in search of a new life, only to be taken hostage by a woman hiding a sinister secret. The horror thriller is written by Paul Bertino and marks the directorial debut of Destry Allyn Spielberg.”

What Did You Do?

Jonathan Stoddard as Alice_What Would You Do

Horror writer Stephen Romano – who fans may recognize from Masters of Horror, Resurrection Express, Shock Festival, and more – is making his directorial debut on a feature film!

That film is What Did You Do? which I’m told is “a slow-burn psychological horror-noir” that was “shot across Texas and transferred to 35mm for that vintage grime.”

Stephen Romano said, “It’s my magnum opus of American nightmares and pulpy analog cinema… and it’s deeply personal in ways I’m only beginning to unpack.”

What Did You Do? is currently in post-production, but keep an eye out for it at film festivals in early 2026. In the meantime, follow along on their Instagram for updates (I’ve been told the film’s trailer will make its debut there relatively soon!).

Onslaught of the Dead + How to Explain Laughing to Dead Flowers

Ten-Headed Skeleton indie horror films

Los Angeles-based Writer-Director-Rapper Ten-Headed Skeleton wrote to me about TWO horror-comedy films he’s currently showing off at film festivals and arthouses: Onslaught of the Dead and How to Explain Laughing to Dead Flowers. He has showings lined up for June 21st and July 12th, but the venues and times are yet to be announced as of this writing. Ten-Headed Skeleton has been updating his website with details on the “When’s Your Next Show?” page.

According to Ten-Headed Skeleton, “Onslaught of the Dead isn’t chasing studio validation — it’s a midnight-movie gem that does exactly what it promises: deliver undead fun with guts, charm, and no apologies.” You can watch the full movie on his website.

For now, if you want to watch How to Explain Laughing to Dead Flowers, you’ll have to catch it in person! “How to Explain Laughing to Dead Flowers is a genre-bending horror-comedy anthology that blends surreal humor and disturbing horror across four uniquely stylized chapters, each shot with a vintage 8mm look,” said Ten-Headed Skeleton.

Watch Them Come Blood

Watch Them Come Blood Grindhouse Film Mike Cuenca

Joaquin Dominguez, co-writer and producer of Watch Them Come Blood, said, “It’s a 79-minute grindhouse thriller — a group of friends on a road trip stumble into a sleazy brothel, where a heist goes violently off the rails. Think Rolling Thunder meets Texas Chainsaw Massacre, with a punk heart.”

Directed by Mike Cuenca, Watch Them Come Blood hits Blu-ray July 1st via a well-known label in the horror community that I’m not allowed to say (that news is under embargo until the release). Keep an eye out!

The Licked Hand

The Licked Hand urban legend film Dee Wallace

Associate Producer Layla O’Shea wrote to me to announce that The Licked Hand – a film version of the urban legend that haunted our youths – started production on May 19th!

The Licked Hand will star HorrorFam.com Horror Hottie award winner Dee Wallace (The Howling, The Frighteners, Cujo) and it’s going to be a tense survival thriller! Directed and co-written by Adad Warda – with fellow co-writer Levi Gordon, who initially suggested adapting the story we all know from sleepovers – The Licked Hand is an intriguing horror film to keep an eye on. I’m very curious how they’re going to adapt the story as a feature-length film!

“The project promises both emotional depth and spine-tingling scares.” Layla O’Shea said, adding, “The film draws on [Adad Warda’s] Assyrian heritage and passion for exploring untold stories to craft a narrative that’s as poignant as it is terrifying.”

The Miseries

Kaelen Ohm The Miseries cast

Per the email I received: “From award-winning director Ashlea Wessel (TICK, Creepy Bits) and writer Sarah Gignac (Rage Monster) comes The Miseries, a new genre-blending horror. Stricken with shame following her husband’s murder, the film follows Bree, played by TV’s Kaelen Ohm (FROM) as she tries to start her life over. Suddenly at the whim of a cursed and haunted apartment, Bree desperately tries to escape until she finds herself stuck in an endless time-loop where she, and other women like her, are forced to grapple with their own trauma.”

The Miseries is a fascinating project for me as a filmmaker and as a horror fan,” said director Ashlea Wessel. “This film plays with psychological horror conventions in a way that subverts and celebrates well-trodden tropes, while pushing the boundaries of the genre through mind-bending, non-linear storytelling. Thematically, it’s an exploration of human guilt and trauma from a female perspective, investigating how our individual experiences are never just ours. In some way, they’re part of a larger shared experience, for better or for worse.”

Filming of The Miseries took place in Nova Scotia, Canada, and wrapped last month. No release date has been set yet, but the filmmakers wanted to get the word out (and share the above “sneak peek” image of Kaelen Ohm)! Keep an eye out.

Spring 2025 Indie Horror Short Films

Beyond the Moonlight

Beyond the Moonlight short horror film

We got an update from Natalie Rodriguez! She and her team’s psychological horror feature film, Inner Child, has secured a sales and distribution deal. It’s slated to begin filming in January 2026.

In the meantime, some of the Inner Child team is moving forward with a new body horror short film — Beyond the Moonlight — which begins filming June 22nd.

Beyond the Moonlight follows two dancer sisters unknowingly preparing for a brutal transformation – and it’s not “just” going from break-downs to pointe shoes. It’s something far more sinister.

To cover their projected post-production costs, they’ve set up an IndieGoGo campaign. If you’d like to contribute to it, do so quickly – their campaign ends June 16th.

Everyday Dread: Strangers

Nick Muhlbach Everyday Dread Strangers 2025 indie horror short film

Writer-director Nick Muhlbach wrote to me to share his short horror film, Everyday Dread: Strangers, which you can watch on YouTube. It’s only 6 minutes long – check it out!

Without too many spoilers, it reminded me a lot of Satan’s Little Helper (2004) but Everyday Dread: Strangers‘ story took 94 minutes less time to tell. And y’all know I love a quick runtime!

If you enjoy Everyday Dread: Strangers, let Nick Muhlbach know. He’s thinking to turn his Everyday Dread YouTube channel into a venue filled with his short horror films, and Strangers is the first in the series.

Spring 2025 Indie Horror Books

Rain Shadows: Dark Tales from Washington State

Rain Shadows Dark Tales from Washington State horror anthology book

Tamara Kaye Sellman and Clay Vermulm from the Beneath the Rain Shadow Podcast have complied 12 of the horror stories they wrote for their show and turned them into a book — Rain Shadows: Dark Tales from Washington State!

They’re having a “soft launch” of the book at StokerCon in Stamford, Connecticut on June 12-15th, and a release party on July 19th. If you’re not able to attend either of those summer 2025 indie horror events, never fear – they’ll be doing a full-blown book tour during October and November!

In the meantime, you can follow along with Rain Shadows: Dark Tales from Washington State’s “pod to pub” (podcast to publication) journey via their Patreon updates.

Tick Town

Tick Town Christopher A Micklos horror novel

Indie horror filmmaker Christopher Micklos (The Nursery, The Headmistress) is mere days away from becoming a published novel author! Tick Town will be released on Amazon for Kindle and as a paperback on June 24th. You can pre-order it now.

“When I sat down to write my debut novel, Tick Town, I was inspired by the gonzo pulp horror paperbacks of the 1970’s and 1980’s, as well as the classic creature feature sci-fi movies of the 1950’s and 1960’s,” Christopher Micklos said. “So, when I sat down with my publisher, Castle Bridge Media, to work on the cover art, I wanted something that would evoke those classic covers and posters I love.” The gorgeous final cover design was illustrated by In Churl Yo of Castle Bridge Media.

Going beyond the cover art, Tick Town is the story of a young reporter and her boss investigating why livestock and townsfolk are getting slaughtered in a rural Wisconsin tourist town. The answer is giant mutant ticks! But will they be able to find and destroy the queen tick (and her nest) before thousands of Wisconsin ticks are unleashed on the WORLD?! Find out on June 24th.

Fake Believe

Fake Believe Matt Maxwell horror novel

Fake Believe by Matt Maxwell is the third book in his Hazeland series and features seven all-new stories. Scared to jump in with book three? Don’t worry, Maxwell assured me that only the last story plays directly off anything that happened in the previous two Hazeland books. He also said, “I think it’s written in such a way that folks could connect with it even without having read the other books.”

The seven-stories/one-author horror anthology features ghosts, golems, a sasquatch, a goddess, criminals, sorcerers, immortal weirdos, and more! And if Matt Maxwell’s book writing is as entertaining as the email he sent me, I’m confident Fake Believe will be a fun read.

Matt Maxwell said that Fake Believe‘s stories “wander over the lines of horror and fantasy so regularly that calling them either one or the other doesn’t seem fair. Yes, this is a crazy move to make in the genre-focused world we live in where you better pick a team and not rock the boat too much. But what’s the point of self-publishing if you can’t do exactly that?” He added, “It’s exactly what I’ve wanted to write for a very long time.”

Fake Believe will be available via Amazon on June 15th.

Project Threshold

Craig Crawford Project Threshold cryptid horror

Horror author Craig Crawford has been publishing a dark, sci-fi horror serial with RedCape Publishing called Project Threshold.

The series’ 8th novella – Project Threshold Season 2: Operation Rogue Weather – is releasing on Amazon June 27th.

From Craig Crawford, regarding his supernatural horror series’ over-arcing plot: “Project Threshold is dedicated to containing or destroying intruding entities to keep humanity safe. These are their stories…”

Valley of the Shadow: The Spiritual Value of Horror

Valley of the Shadow The Spiritual Value of Horror Reed Lackey Tyler Smith

Available from Rediscover Television, Tyler Smith’s new book Valley of the Shadow: The Spiritual Value of Horror explores the unlikely connection between faith and fear, as depicted in scary movies. Co-authored by Reed Lackey (the Fear of God podcast), the book was adapted from the award-winning documentary of the same name.

Valley of the Shadow: The Spiritual Value of Horror is available in paperback form via Amazon.

Small Town Weirdos

Small Town Weirdos AJ Spencer horror novel

HorrorFam.com writer AJ Spencer also has a new novel – Small Town Weirdos – coming out on July 16, 2025! I’ve been told that “the vibe is Napoleon Dynamite meets The X-Files” and it’s about a teen girl named Betty Harp, an aspiring crime scene photographer, who decides to take a crack at a local missing person’s case… and discovers a lot more than she bargained for!

Small Town Weirdos isn’t out yet, but this fictional horror comedy novel is anticipated to be a good read for older teens and adults. If you’re interested, keep an eye on AJ Spencer’s Author Page on Amazon for its release.

Spring 2025 Indie Horror Audio

Horror Makes Us Happy

Happy Horror Podcast 5th Anniversary

The Horror Makes Us Happy podcast celebrated their 5th anniversary on May 1st this year, and lieu of hosting a grand celebration have decided to give back to the community by donating something special to horror-themed charity Scares That Cares.

Cohosts Steve Becker and Chris Whitman have been collecting signatures from as many of their horror-focused podcast guests as they could fit onto a t-shirt (shown above) and, last month, they handed the tee over to Scares That Care at AuthorCon V with a whopping 32 autographs! The only way to get your hands on it will be to win the silent auction for it at the Scares That Care x Mad Monster Party event in Phoenix, Arizona on July 11th -13th. All proceeds of which will go to Scares That Care and there won’t be any online bidding, so you’ll have to be there in person!

This message was so lovely to get. In the six years I’ve been running HorrorFam.com (we launched in October 2019, but I’ve been working on it since May 2019), I’ve seen so many horror-focused websites come and go. I was delighted that Horror Makes Us Happy made it to their 5th anniversary! (Congratulations, Guys!). And Scares That Cares is a wonderful charity that annually divides $30,000 between three people in need – a child in need, someone with breast cancer, and a burn victim – while raising awareness and helping in other ways year-round.

Skandinavien

Skandinavien Albion Byrd horror audio

Audio producer Albion Byrd has spent the last four years working on an immersive paranormal horror audio series called Skandinavien.

In his email, he said: “There’s a world I’ve been building; bleak, beautiful, and quietly terrifying. It’s called Skandinavien. A dark Nordic horror audio series that’s immersive, eerie, and full of unsettling beauty. If you’re into haunting soundscapes and atmospheric storytelling, this might be your next obsession.”

You can listen to the first episode for free on his website, AlbionByrd.com!

Other Spring 2025 Indie Horror Stuff

The B Stream

The B Stream horror streaming service

Indie horror director Brad Lyon (Thursday the 12th/Little Creeps/Monsters on Main Street) wrote to me to announce that he’s recently become the Chief Operating Officer of The B Stream, a new movie streaming service for B movies, horror films, and cult favorites. It’s live now, and you can access it through thebstream.com as well as in the Apple and Google app stores.

From this point, I’m just going to share what Brad said verbatim: “Beyond our normal activities of releasing fun films including occasional exclusive and new releases, we’re gearing up for some exciting activities we want to share with everyone. Our first B Stream Originals have now gone into production and we’re preparing to announce the B Stream International Film Festival (BSIFF) and the B Movie Awards Show.

We’re shooting a show that has an ‘Office’ feel, about a director trying to find where he wants to shoot his next horror movie. He’s traveling around (docu-series style) going to towns with Crytpid and Folklore stories searching for the right fit. Rumor has it that in this series, some of those stories might not just be fairytales.

We’re also shooting a series right now that includes some interviews with familiar faces from genre films, that helps our audience know what we have releasing and available to watch now on The B Stream. We’re really big on community with our service. We even designed a social media element for them to participate with on the website and on our apps that lets them interact with other members and even request movies they’d like us to license!

Tell you what, we’re going to create a promo code right now for you to provide your followers. They can get 50% off at sign up, that’s good for half off their first month, first quarter, or even half off an annual membership! Whatever they choose they get half off. Promo Code: HORRORFAM (case sensitive).”

Wow! It’s Lauren again. That was such a nice (and extremely generous!) surprise. Thanks, Brad! Though, dear reader, please note that HorrorFam.com is not an affiliate of or sponsored by The B Stream and subscribing won’t be supporting our content in any way. That said, I’m really excited by what The B Stream has planned and I’m absolutely delighted that Brad Lyon and The B Stream went out of their way to hook you up with a great deal. Very, VERY cool. I recently had a horrible customer service experience with another horror-focused streaming service, so I’m truly, genuinely impressed (and touched) that The B Stream went out of their way to do that. And they have ZERO commercials!! Let’s help get the word out about their service and help them succeed, Fam!

Beauty of Horror Montage

Girish Kumar AKA Cinemastaan wrote to me asking if I could share this 5-minute montage he made of the most iconic shots from what he considers the Top 50 Horror Films of All Time.

Right now, Girish Kumar’s YouTube channel has 29 subscribers and he’s looking for more folks who share his interest in film. I thought the video he sent me was a nice collection of horror films (maybe there are some you’ll want to add to your own Must Watch list?) and the featured clips were out-of-context enough to not be too spoiler-y. If you’ve seen the films, you’ll go, “Ahhhh…THAT scene!” And if you haven’t, you’ll say, “Hmm. I wonder what that’s about?”
